The Delicate Balance That Will End Racism For Good

The Delicate Balance That Will End Racism For Good

The force driving racism is egoism & by transcending egoism we can eliminate racism. [Tweet This]

Racism is a state in which a person’s senses are not directed only towards having things be good for himself, but also that he enjoys it when things are bad for others. We constantly compare ourselves to others: the worse it is for them, the better it is for us. An important factor in the eruption of racism are issues of nationalism or races; after all, we are not alike, we are different, dissimilar. As a result, on the one hand, we are moving to a state of mutual hostility and hatred; on the other hand, to the disclosure of our overall integral dependence on each other. And here is where we require the wisdom of Kabbalah to balance the two mutual forces that mutually reject each other.

Call the Bomb Squad on the Overblown Ego

Call the Bomb Squad on the Overblown Ego

Humanity needs to learn how to balance its overblown egoism with the opposite, positive altruistic force.

Today, globalization shows us that, on the one hand, we are all connected, and on the other hand, our enormously overblown egoism alienates us from each other. In this state we will acknowledge its pettiness, limited nature, and hopelessness, and come to hate our egoistic nature and develop a desire to unite, to transform our nature into the opposite, altruistic nature. Thus we will independently find a way to transform ourselves into altruists and to reconnect with the entire humanity as a single, united whole.

The Law of Love and Harmony

The Law of Love and Harmony

The wisdom of Kabbalah is a science that reveals the superior guidance behind the whole of creation.

All of reality is guided by one inclusive law called “the law of nature” or “the law of the Creator.” This general law of nature, the Creator, is all-encompassing love, harmony and benevolence.

As we must understand basic laws of physics, chemistry and biology to lead normal lives, we must also realize this inclusive law of creation—and live by it–to spare us suffering, wars, and natural disasters and bring us to a state of balance and harmony.

Kabbalah teaches us how to discover this law.

What Are “Supernatural Powers?”

It all started with believing in supernatural powers. People believe that there are individuals who are imbued with supernatural powers who can influence others and foresee and control the future. Those people are willing to spend fortunes on healing, defense from the “evil eye,” and fortunetelling. They believe that evil thoughts can harm another person and that the damage can be so great that it will be beyond repair and might haunt a person forever, causing damage in every aspect of life, including business and family.

The Power of Human Thought

When someone comes to me with a complaint about suffering from an “evil eye,” that person is in fact trying to say that someone influenced him or her badly, meaning someone acted in a harmful way through the power of thought. That person also believes that I hold the power to neutralize that evil thought through my own power of thought. If this person asks to neutralize another person’s thoughts, then he or she believes in the power of thought and that thoughts do in fact act and come true in our world.

The Most Powerful Force in the World

The power of thought is the single most powerful force in reality. Our experience tells us that the more subtle and elusive a power is, the stronger and less limited it is. Today, there are even scientists that recognize this. Radio waves, magnetic and electric fields, radioactivity, and gravity are all examples of forces that we know of only by their actions and the phenomena they induce in our world. There are, however, forces such as the power of the thought whose actions we cannot even identify.

Why It Is Beneficial to Live in Accord with Nature’s Laws

We do not say anything new in Kabbalah that goes against human logic. All the laws of the natural sciences speak in one form or another about each part of creation striving for the center, for a physical-biological balance (whether an atom, a molecule, an inanimate object, or a living organism). This is the principle of every law of nature, and it is also the principle of Kabbalah, but Kabbalah relates those collective laws of creation to humanity.

The very fact that we are a part of nature necessitates us to be subordinate to it. It is not a question of will, and neither is our very existence in this world. Hence, if a person accepts the laws of nature and keeps them, he or she will feel good, and if not, the opposite.

The collective laws of nature bring us back to a state of balance called the “center of creation.” The minute you begin to want to go back to that center, as the law that returns does, you will feel that you are stepping on a comfortable road, because you agree with the force and keep its laws. On the other hand, if you do not know that law and act according to your own understanding, you will be punished. That is the way nature works—anyone who breaks its laws is punished, including people, who are inseparable parts of nature.

Introducing the Law of Equivalence of Form

We are the only creatures who regularly break the laws of nature because all other creatures work only according to their natural impulses. Those impulses also exist in us, but they are not enough for us to know how to behave in nature, and if we do not acquire this knowledge, we will simply become extinct.
